    question on 323SE

    i have a 1990 323SE hatchback, standard, and have always wanted to drop a BP turbo in. but have heard alot about the task. what are the GOOD's and BAD's about the engine, and whats the hardest problem about installation? thanks.

      look at the top of the screen. see the Orange "donate" button. the button to the right of it is the search button.

        uhhh, what does donateing have to do with his Question lol ...

        yeah you should do a search ...
        the BP is a great motor to me. I love it.
        maybe only thing that is kinda naggine is the hydrolic lifters that can be kinda nagging on cold starts.

            ok n00b there is a lot of info in the "archives" i know that within a week a how to for an sohc to dohc engine swap will be posted.

            spend a day and read. then if you have anymore questions just ask. most of us are pretty friendly. and if you think it is a really stupid question, PM someone who you think is really knowlegable. 1 on 1 is a good way to get some "beginning info"

              No problem for me, smooth and quiet like it suppose to be. Guess why?
              92 323 with BP DOHC
              ported/polished head, regrinded cams, JUN adjustable cam gears, ported AFM, ported/knife edged intake manifold.

              N/A project dropped.
