    Night and Day

The other day I just got really fed up with how my engine bay was looking, from top and underside. One thing I learned from the mechanics at my old job was a can of brake clean/brake kleen works wonders! It loosens all that dirt and crap. I had about a half inch of grease built up on the transmission on the driver side. Just by removing the intake tubing (place a cloth to plug up the big intake holes so no stuff gets in it) and then go to town! Take some old rags and just wipe a way. Make sure you take yesterdays paper and lay it down plentifully underneath of the car. (My car has just bout 280k miles on it so needless to say there was ALOT of grease.)

Not only does this make your car look better, But it can also help you find where leaks are coming from.

got any pics of the cleanness?
No car! I soldz it. Now I have a truck. I like it, but apparently it has a hard time keeping up with a slightly modified 4WD protege with half the hp. Neat.

So does anyone know of anything that'll get rid of the residue from dried antifreeze, that, say for instance, sprayed all over your engine bay from the time you, hypothetically speaking, had a clogged radiator? I've heard it's very stubborn....won't come off with brakecleen. Or gunk....or much of anything else....dammit

call me crazy but I use dawn, with craft sand mixed in, it works like liquid lava, but I wouldn't use it on painted parts.
