    Power M3 Mirrors on a P5

I was thinking of ordering some Power M3 mirrors off ebay or something. The ones with the turning signals.

    Is that rice or not.
Because i don't want to do anything to affect my ride in a bad way lol.

I think they look cool though

the key word in that is MY ride. its your car, you shouldn't give a **** about what someone else thinks. there are too many closed minded people out there that will call something rice, cause THEY don't like it i personally like the looks of the m3 mirrors, but am thinking of taking mine off, or modifying them. they make a lot of wind noise when driving down the highway, which is about all i do anymore

I'm not a big fan of the blinking mirrors. But if you do get them I think blue looks the best as the color of the turn signal.

I have them installed on my car and I rather the look of them then the stock mirrors. I didn't go with the ones with the turn signals b/c I didn't feel like hooking them up.

I personally not a big fan of the M3 signal mirrors, I would suggest getting the CF covers from DGmotorsports for the stock mirrors or getting the APR formula mirrors that look pretty sick. But it's up to you and what you like. Just my .02

are the M3 mirrors pretty much a "drop in" or is there hassle in putting them in (I would consider them for the additional turn signal)... but I'm lazy when it comes to installs like that :p:

I don't know about the power mirrors, I would assume there is some pretty simple wiring involved. But on my M3 mirros it was as simple as three bolts.

                        M3 mirrors
you have to splice the wire with the tun signal wire
i think you hve to go through the door
then the dash board and into the motor
                        about IMO an hours work
i think it is worth it for somebody who likes the look

me, i just want to paint my mirror silver that is all
