I have been contemplating doing an awd setup for some time now, but I need to find a source for the rear end. I was thinking possibly a miata rear end? Any suggestions?

miata rear suspension is toooootally different. gonna have to be from a 90-91 awd pro, or a JDM BG gtx/gtr. otherwise the fabbing will be even harder.Escort GTR -- 11.87 @ 117.6 mph -- 320 HP / 325 Ft. Lbs. @ 23 PSI

I am going to have to do tons of fab work anyway, its going into an aspire not a protege. I mentioned miata because its the right width and the whole rear end comes out in a nice tidy package when you unbolt the sub frame and the shocks. I just want to know if it will work.2011 BMW 128i 6 Speed Manual -- dd

I have a stock awd pro rear end, which as far as I can tell is identical to the stock BF GTX rear end. Shipping the damn thing cross country is gonna be spendy but make me an offer...'90 AWD Protege, full GTR drivetrain swap, ~320 whp daily driver, RIP, and
'90 AWD Protege, yet another GTR swap, Open class rallycar with a Toyota GT4 gearbox swap, thus crossing the line between hobby and mental illness. And a Brabus E55 K8, removing all doubt.
