Hey Guys, I have a couple of questions and wondering if anyone may have some answers.
I just recently put in a another engine, same 1.8 DOHC, but now there is a couple of glitches that werent there prior and it makes me a little nervous.
First thing i noticed was when im stopped, my RPM gauge and engine revs itself up and down and sometimes it settles but sometimes it just keeps bouncing up and down.
And something i noticed tonight when im stopped it will sit at 1000, but i turned off my lights and it revs up to 1500, then settles down. but everytime i turn on and off my lights it revs.
Also my father has a code reader for 96 and above, but everytime we use it, it reads error, and i heard that an opposite way to check the code (because my check engine light is on) is something about the diagonisis box, pin 10 and ground? and it flashes. im not too sure.
