I've owned all kinds of cars, several FC Rx7's, couple of 1G Eclipse, an 85 Celica, numerous S-10's (some bagged and body dropped), 66 Rambler station wagon, 65 caddy, and the list goes on, but I mostly dabble with Starions (got four of em atm).
What am I doing here? Well in college I had a poopy Escort lx auto. It sucked, but I was broke and needed something cheap on gas. Then just last week I found an Escort LX-E for 500 bucks. Went and looked at it, drove it around the block, paid the man, and drove it 200 miles home. He said the front end needed replacing, yes there is a clunk but some sway bar end links will clear that right up. Since the LX-E is BP powered, it fits in here at clubprotege.
My SN comes from my car club, MainstreaM customs here in Chattanooga. We're in a server transition or I'd give you the website. I started the club back in 98 after being in several large clubs in the Chatt area. Several of us got tired of the BS that goes on with the "kid" mentality that most members had so we quit and started MainstreaM. We've always been small with 20 or less members because we are a little picky. All but one of our members has been with us for 5+ years.
