Just wondering everyones thoughts on porting the stock headers. Has anyone done this or know if it is a good idea?

I dunno about anyone else, but when I had my old motor, I went ot a junkyard and got a manifold off a 94 LX (supposedly made tubular style like a header). After getting this, I gasket matched the exhaust ports on the head and on the manifold. It made a minor difference. As far as power gains, I honestly don't know if it really made a difference at the wheels.1991 Mazda 323 GTR Sedan
