    the auto LX is DOWN!!!!

my 2000 protege lx auto went down here is the pics
my dip**** parents got me this at 100k miles, timing belt not changed, tranny fluid never changed, very burned oil. and i had to make the payments on it.
not bitching, i like my '05 saturn vue. not the milage
    anyway
i rode this car hard. and i mean hard. did crazy **** in it. fishtails, sliding corners, hiting just before redline. launcing in it.

so after getting cyl1 misfire and replacing all the sparks i'm pretty sure i had also lost compression somehow. tranny slippage, all sorts of ****. lurcing hesitttating.
embarasing to ride in. started to suck gas like a semi!
here is the pics of the results:

    sry about the size

i wish my parents would buy me a 800 bux beater.

I'm totally lost for words. When you buy a car, you always do the first maintenance so that you have record of everything.

Looks like you'd rather have a tricked out interior (with ur racing seatcovers and all!) lol

If the rest of the car is in decent shape, I say go for a BPT swap or KL-ZE. Then drive the car like an adult and quit dissing your parents. My dad "allowed" me to drive the now-mine 323. I never once complained...but the 323 owns so there you go.

I'd like to buy it, if you were closer, or still had it.

i sold it to the saturn dealership here in eugene. it might get shipped off. idk
and for the one who told me to drive like an adult. btw i do now. like i said life lesson learned. and also. i went overboard with all the cheap wal-mart crap. lol. but the seat covers are cool no matter what you say.
the ride i'm in now has a warrenty and free 30,000 oil changes.

my car now has seat warmers.

Same here, I put myself through two years of college (no loans or anything), own two cars (paid in full with cash), have always paid for my own auto insurance, pay rent to live with my parents, pay for my own gym membership, and I'm saving to buy my own house. I work hard for what I have, and it means a lot to me.

You sound ungrateful and irresponsible. Perhaps if you would have had to pay for it, you might have been a better steward.

Not respecting two persons who brought you up and made you a man you are today is kinda cool nowadays. Well, his respect for his parents kinda matches with his respect for the car they bought.

Anyway, I am also paying everything for my car, except for the fuel because I am a signed partner with our national gas company via my step-dad and we have numerous benefits when buying fuel - so the bill is actually sent to him but he never wanted to take money from me... He always tells me to save those 100 dollars for my monthly gas consumption on parts I will be needing in future and for the insurance.

Never underestimate someone who shares his own living space with you (some of you pay rent at home which is a very nice thing to show your parents the responsibility). Even if my step-father is a total noob when it gets to cars and he's always asking me basic things about the auto tech I always know that he's the first person to show up if my car would fail or if I 'park' it in the nearest crop field because the turn was too complicated.

                              Respect the elders!
