    Aaaarrrrggggghhhhhh

Ok, I just went outside and saw a freaking puddle of Antifreeze under my 323. Well I poped the hood and took off the radiator cap and it was about 3 inches low.

Looks like the copper/brass fitting at the bottom is leaking. I am praying that it is not the radiator portion that the fitting screws into because if it is, that means I get to swap in the lx radiator before I had planned on doing it.

I am about to go to work, and dont have time to fix it. I do carry antifreeze and H2o in my car, so i guesss I will be filling up every couple of miles.

Friend at auto parts store told me over the phone fitting is 3.62 with tax, or he can get me then new radiator for 100 even out the door, and I get to install it myself. Either way I hope its the fitting.

    Anyone else have this problem?

My radiator had a leak, but it was from a crack on the top plastic part. (Seems to be a common problem among 1st gens) I replaced it with a metal top one from an automatic.

OK well, I just picked a random icon, and that one caught my eye. If it offends annyone lemme know and I will change it.

Well, I went and replaced that radiator that nite.

The bottom plastic was cracked and leaking. Only took me like an hour total to replace. $107 dollars out the door for both the lower radiator hose and the new radiator. I got a friend that works for an auto parts store. Was gonna be $149 for just the radiator if I walked in alone.

I thought the same thing, but more along the lines of a water/oil cooled turbo.
