    Rear End Question

Now that I have been replacing just about everything in my car and its for the most part completely apart and from seeing what was done to this car (tis a bit ghetto). When doing a GTR swap to a 4wd protege, is the rear end gearing for the protege compatible with the GTR transmission? I have found a lot of cut corners and wondering if there could be a big one under my nose and i dont know it.

The gear ratio's between the us rear diff and the J-spec one should be the same, the advantage of having a GTR rear diff is that it is Viscous Limited Slip.

Yes, my first rallycar was a GTX, I had corksport do the BPT swap and the drivveshaft talked to the trans with no mods. That car had the factory gpA rear lsd, but the stocker should hold up to 250 ponies just fine. Course, you'll have gone with some manner of lsd back there, right, and if so, then less worries yet about blowing it up; you'll blow up the tranny first...
