    Max boost pressure

With proper tuning, how much boost can a stock BP handle out of the VJ-20? Any ideas?

you shouldnt run the vj20 more than 15 psi considering how small it is.

i thought the vj20 was good for around 20psi or something like that., considering the 14 is only good for 16psi, and runs out after that.

:edit: nevermind. ;D just found the info saying its good for 15psi. lol

nah its too small to be spoolin over 15psi. technically, the gtx ecu doesnt understand anything over 14.7 psi.

Well I do have a Haltech to tune it with.. does that change anything?

If you are running haltech, you can run more boost but there is no point since you will just be going beyond the turbo's efficiency range and you will just be forcing hot air into the engine. If you are looking to run boost higher than 14psi, I would suggest a bigger turbo.

dont bother trying to tune anything with the vj20, personally its not worth it if u wanna go fast. its the weakest part of the engine, bad flow, small turbine, spools way too quickly (less top end power), not ball bearing...you catch my drift. investing in a t3/t04e would be your best bet

Dang that sucks.. it's nice to have that much more torque though if you can keep traction. Limpgtx thanks for the advice, you're right, but I can't go out and get another turbo now, don't have the money. Thanks for the graphs Jesse they were helpful.
