so i was browsing ebay, since once in a while you can find a killer deal on there, and what do i find? an extremely rare and HUGE us amps VLX400. 44" long and about 5k watts

why are there no terminals on the amp? I saw the wires, but why?

taht thing is ****ing HUGE! and a great price... for that price i could only get a 1000 watt alpine.... sigh... but idont need 5K watts.... i dont have a fridge in my car....


wait a second.... hmmmm... lightbulb! replace center seat in the rear with a minifridge and fiberglass it in.... hmm

the wires are to go directly to your extra batteries, so you don't get any voltage drop from terminals, since it goes straight to the circuit board you should see the board of some of their new high power amps, they've got HUGE banks of capacitors and put out as much power in a smaller package

i don't think they make fuses that size there's some solid state Intelligent Circuit Breakers, or ICB's for short that would probably work. they are available in 100, 250, 500, and 1000 amps too bad the 100 amp one retails at $250 basically you'd need a battery isolator for it. i'm just guessing that the amp will suck down about 700 amps of juice
