Polyurethane Sway Bar Bushings for MX3

Hello fellow Mazda lovers....Does anyone know a source for poly sway bar bushings For the MX3 that will fit the stock one bolt mounts. I have a 22mm(7/8") bar in front and 20.5(13/16") in the rear. Energy Suspension makes bushings to fit these mounts, which come in the Escort Master Kit, but according to the rep I spoke with they don't make them in the sizes I need. He may have been BSing me though. He wasn't too concerned with my plite. Any help would be appreciated...Oh, and this is a great site...Great info everywhere.-RAA

P.S. I did do a search but didn't find anything. So if I missed it, sorry.

Thanks Turpro, I'll do that. Superpro would be cool. On a related topic, I bought the Energy Sus masterkit which comes with what they call a shifter stabilizer......big flowery name for a bushing. Does anyone know if it will work with the MX3 shifter? Anyway thanks again for the lead.-RAA

yep it should work with your linkage. what swaybars are you running in your car right now? did you have to switch over to endlink bushings? or you still running droplinks?

          Jack,

I'm just running the stock units check above for the sizes. It seems my car was factory equiped with a fairly large rear bar. I also like the fact that the bars on these cars is of a relatively short lenght which adds to there resistance to be twisted. As far as links go, I'll be sticking with the drop links. They inheirently have very little slack and thus, I think, load the bar more quickly upon the on set of body roll.-RAA

BTW....thanks for answering my question on the "shifter stabilizer". Do you know if all the bushings in the shifter are the same size as these. I think there are several set in the shifter. It would be good to replace them all with poly.

the shifter stabilizer is the BIG bushing. then there's the 2 sets of little bushings which are all the same size. you can actually go to a hardware store and get bronzeoil bushings, i found some a couple months ago but didn't have the sizing.
