ok the car starts and everything but the cluth goes in as far as it can and wont let the gears go into gear and theres all this brake/clutch fluid leaking from the clutch pedal would could be loose or what could be leaking?

sounds like a clutch master cylinder. turpro made a howto not too long ago about repairing that.
No car! I soldz it. Now I have a truck. I like it, but apparently it has a hard time keeping up with a slightly modified 4WD protege with half the hp. Neat.

if you're adding fluid, its most likely leaking, especially since you said there's fluid on the pedal.

pull the battery and tray out. you'll see a line going from the bottom of the brake master to the clutch master. that's one line. the other comes from the clutch master and goes across the tranny to the clutch slave.

all of those lines are in the engine bay. you have fluid in your car? that's where the clutch/brake masters go when the seals die. If you have fluid dripping off the clutch pedal and not brake pedal, then the clutch master is dead. I really can't be more clear than that.

Go search for Turpro's thread in the How To forum about replacing the clutch master. It will SHOW you everything I've said.

Just call evey auto parts store in town, go buy the cheapest clutch master cylinder and replace it yourself. I replaced mine. It's one of the easier repair jobs. That's considering that I'm lazy and find eveything long and tedious but enjoy saving money and satisfaction of having done it myself. Yes, you can repair the unit yourself, as stated, buy for the amount of money you save, it ain't worth it. Well, at least at the price I got it for where I live. That can vary greatly by where you live.
