I need some help, because nobody here in Germany did such a swap before.
I've got a 1997 MX-3 16V (B6D) with 107HP.
I want to swap this engine to a BP from a 1991 323 GT (Familia) with 128 HP.
Is it possible? Are there any problems I could get?
What is about the electronic?
Could you also explain the difference of the 1st and the 2nd generation BP to me?
Is it right that I have to solder cable-color from the automotive wiring harness of the engine to the same cable-color of the automotive wiring harness of my MX-3? I'd like to use the ECU of the BP.
And one question to the transmission: I'd like to use the F-tranny of my MX-3, because I have an electronic speedo, the BP-transmission has a mechanical speedo. Would it work, when I use my F-tranny, my MX-3 1.6 clutch and flywheel?
