so i got e36 headlights for egt but cant find any threads that explain how to do it. let me know where to go.

I do not, and will not understand how people cannot find simple threads. I typed "bmw headlights" and on the first page found this:

that page just shows pics of it. doesnt say how to do it. the only thing i found was the mirage headlights but are those done the same way as the bmw headlights?

The conversion doesn't work with the stock bumper. I had to use the Tracer bumper and grill. Then I had to make three mount tabs of various shapes on each housing. The lights don't end up fitting all that well, doesn't follow the turn signal's contour. Go look at the photos in my Vb Gallery.

It works with the Escort bumper, you either deal with crooked lights or just trim a little of the hump.
