Time for new shocks <advice>

Well it's time for new shocks and i need some advice on what brand to buy and should i lower it or not here's a pic:


p.s. it's on 15's and i don't plan on changing my rims anytime soon because the roads are really in bad shape where i live.

I've decided to replace the shocks with the same type that are in there already and since i no longer plan on doing any major mods besides a sound system their really isn't any reason to drop it.
just thought i'd update the folks who have read this post.
