    new to club pro

well ive been lurking around for a little while now so i decided to join up since the other forums im on have been a little slow lately.. im fairly active on FEOA.NET so some of the guys here might know me. i dont drive a mazda powered car but i rock the same chassis anyway.. i got a 95 mercury tracer with the dusty old 1.9l engine.

anyway heres a little story from when i got it to how it is now..

    what i started with

    some egt blades i painted

    took off my wing

then the front lip i made out of garden edging.

my goal i hope to reach some day

let me know what you think

i dig the painted wheels and the "garden edging" lip. that's damn near 'red green show' inginuity but it looks surprisingly well! i can't help but wonder if those side skirts come off and if so... would they fit a protege? i gotta do something... i'm loosing real estate to rust... maybe get another BG?

    Welcome to the club!!

          Hello Mark......

1st and for most, Welcome to CP!!!

2nd we gotta talk, your Trio is hott!!

Chris, wth is Zoomtits??? That's sounds ugly, lol

I have a 95 Identical to yours, only with a frontal crunch, rad., bumper, hood, grill, and lights need replaced.

I'm getting it soon as I get it towed home.

I think I want to put the stock rims on my Protege, and do my old EGT rims like yours are, I really dig the color.

Pm me with an Idea of the cost to recomdition them to look as your do??

          Again Mark, welcome to CP.

thanks for the welcome.....as for the wheels alls i did was use some spray paint.. total cost was probably around 20 bucks for the paint. its wheel paint by Duplicolor. i used 2 cans of graphite, 1 can of silver (for the lip),and like a can and a half of clear. i forget exactly how much a can cost but im pretty sure its under 5 bucks. i had them on my car since early fall its been holding up very well so im satified withit.

zoomtits i think was a guy over on feoa who got banned like 12 times in a week for acting like an lol

yea mine were kinda rough too.. i didnt feel like paying to get them blasted so i just chipped off all the loose paint, sanded them, sanded the curb rashes out and painted away.. the paint does wonders and will hide a lot of the small stuff.. if you look at mine closely they're not perfect, especially around the edges you can see a couple small knicks were there was some serious curbage.. but the paint hides most of it. it didnt really bother me too much cause i only plan on usin these wheels for winter. just have to get some new wheels for the summer.

I probly won't partake of the suds this go round, in part because Ky is home to me, everyones safety and security is a priority to me.

Get here safe, stay safe while here, and get home in one piece, safely.

A breakdown in overall safety is a part of what happened to Natalie Holloway in Aruba.

This is not Aruba, but Bad things happen even in Madison, WI.

                          I'll cover your back Sir.

And If your Dad will come drive him on...he'll fit in well, I'll old as dirt, that's older than he is.

                          Come on Down.
