bp aspire fan problems

i have noticed since i did the swap that my cooling fan never comes on.ive replaced the fan the relay, all the temp sensors and cant get them to turn on. im using the bp harness spliced into the aspire harness.great help is appreciated thanks

does the fan work for sure? 12V test it, just in case.
are temps even getting high enough? could be it runs cool enough that it never turns on.

yeah i ran the fan straight to the battery and it turned right on.i let it warm up to where it started to get hot and no the fan never came on

Maybe it's a bad thermo sensor. Located on your thermostat housing, it has 1 wire.

ive replaced that one 2 times.the only one i havent replaced is the green 2 plug one.also would it matter since some of the proteges have the sensor in the radiator and my aspire dont have that.but im using the escort harness.

to make life easier i'd just hook the fan up to a switch. that's what i did when i couldn't figure why my fan wouldn't come on.

im thinking about it.i just dont want to have to flip a switch to make it come on.does anyone know the wire color going to the ecu?thanks

I did a GTX component swap on my Escort GT....same thing happened to me.

Took me forever to figure it out.

It was the damn fuse.

thats the first thing i checked.i notice that the fan has no power going to it.i replace the relay and the fuse still nothing.does anyone have the pinout at the ecu so i can see what color the cooling fan wire is.thanks
