fast idle silinoid

ok i know we dont have one on our motors... but we have something like it underneath our throttle bodies. my car does really bad at cold startups and sometimes at idle. the idea of a fast idle silinoid (read about it in megamanual) sounds awesome. cause right now my idle is set very high. and it starts fine like this, and idles much better. just, it idles high.

i know the little thing on the bottom of our throttle body does basicaly the same thing. but no where on megamanual does it show where to hook it up to the ms, nor how to adjust its settings. soooo.....

so you see where my question is going?

how do i hook this up and set it!!

From my understanding we have 2 ISV. One under the throttle and one on the intake mani. The one under the throttle in driven by 12v and the other is driven by coolant.

For your MS II you looking for a PWM idle valve. The stock valve is an on/off style. I've herd of a few people just using the coolant driven valve. I've just made up some block off plates for both of them. I just deal with the crapy cold start, but it runs just fine when it warms up. And my I idle is about 800-1000 rpms from what I recall...it's been a few week since I toasted my motor.

It fits the jeep stepper motor. You could give that a shot.

With the PWM mod to your MS and by wiring in the connector to the valve you can get your electronic idle air control valve to work just fine. This makes starts much easier. This is the throttle under the throttle body. The other valve is just a wax pellet.

well, on this, where do i wire in the pwm? is it pin 30? (the yellow wire on the bottom middle/right)?
and the silinoid under the throttle body has 2 wires... which do i run to the ms and which do i ground out...
