so i seen the pacesetter header and exhaust from ebay. i was wondering if anyone has tried them out? what you think about it? did you like it? and if possible does anyone know any good sites to check out for performance parts.

they're ok i guess. i have the old 4-2-1 design on my protege gt, and it's definately an upgrade over the crap cast iron pile.
if you do buy one, make sure you gasket match it though, i had to take off a LOT of material for the ports to line up.
as for performance parts...there's always Corksport.com, Ebay, Andy's auto sport, ummm....flying miata....that's all i can come up with now.

why would that matter? get a universal 2.25" high flow cat from catco or magnaflow or something, i'd imagine pacesetters cats won't last long.

yes...the pacesetter unit comes with some type of downpipe, it runs under the oil pan, and typically past it by a few inches.
like jitb said, slap a flex pipe in there. I never did because i ran solid engine mounts and replaced my hangers with polyurethane ones
