Perrin Short Throw

I recently found a Perrin adjustable short throw listed for 2003 and newer Protege's. I know that the 2003 and older will fit the ZX2, I was wondering if this will fit.

zx2 shifter is the same and i also think all protege,escort,mx3,323 use the same shifter not to sure about the shift rods

Any input on the quality of this shifter?
