I took teh 323 to the dragstrip tonight.
Before I spoil all the fun lets hear a few guesses of what a 200 HP 323 would run in the 1/8th mile
I live my life a quarter pounder at a time. And for those 500 calories or more, I'm free. I need FRIES! Two of them. The big ones. Oh, and I need them tonight. You're lucky the double shot of BBQ sauce didn't blow the seam on your nugget box. There she is, 2 pounds of pure beef. My dad ate it in 9.0 seconds flat. Check it out, it's like this. If I lose, winner takes my happy meal. But if I win, I take the burger and the toy. To some people, that's more important.

1993 Mazda 323 - BP conversion, Front cross drilled rotors, Front and rear strut braces, Filled motor mounts, Mx3 seats, BPT conversion in progress SOLD
So I guess I need to post official times.
First run ever. Normal tire pressure- 10.4
2nd run Same tire pressure 10.1
3rd run, Less tire pressure 9.6
4th run 9.9
I am not happy with the times. The car is well capable of getting into the 8's. I have no traction through 2nd gear and need a tranny. Some may have read in other threads my syncs are beyond bad.
I did not have a tire gauge with me so I did not want to let out too much air. I'd like to return next week to work on launches and have a nice grippy 15psi in the tires

my car ran a 8.23 1/8th in my 12.61 run, so if you get some drag radials i'd say you could run a high 8.
drag racing on street tires is how you break sh!t and run crappy times...
