Okay I have an MX-3 with the b6 sohc engine I just bought it on 4/10/08 anyway the tranny girnded and 1st and 2nd were hard to shift to sometimes, then 5th went out and came back and then went again then it worked perfect and then out of no where 2nd, 4th and reverse could not be shifted into at all hard as hell to try and pull back the shifter, but 1st, 3rd and 5th worked. ANyway also had a 90 protege lx in my back yard that needed a clutch badly.
So I pulled the f-series from my mx-3 and pulled the g-series tranny from the protege along with axels, flywheel and the top tranny mount. Anyway now the g-series is bolted up to my b6 sohc in my mx-3.
I have the passenger side driveaxel(by the way these are the Protege axels) installed into the tranny and through the hub I tightened it down and it's not near as tight as it should be. Secondly the driver side axel while installed into the tranny will not even stick out of the hub enough to thread the big lock nut on. Please help me I needed this car to go back into Daily driver duty yesterday... uhh ..ASAP!
