I have a B6T and I'm pretty confident I'll need an LSD to help put 200hp down around an autocross course, especially with the Festiva it's all going in. I have a G25MR and the stock E-series 5-speed. I've heard that Miata LSD guts will fit in my E-series, but I have no idea what my options are for the G25MR. I'm pretty stumped, any ideas? I'm doing this for a car to be entered int the $2008 Challenge so budget is a huge factor.

for the g series your options are the quaife ($1600 new) and the MSP LSD (~$600 brand new). in either case you'll have some fun finding/making axles, as both LSD's use a 28 spline axle rather than the 26 spline of your B6T tranny. in addition, you will either have to source a 4.105 final drive gearset from another g-series and put it in your tranny, or reuse the 3.85 ring gear from your stock diff, as the MSP LSD comes with a 4.105 ring gear. to reuse the stock gear, you'll have to tack on another $160 for the ARP ring gear bolt kit.Escort GTR -- 11.87 @ 117.6 mph -- 320 HP / 325 Ft.
