My passenger side automatic seatbelt seems to be broken. It looks to me like the cable that runs it broke. Does anyone know if the cables can be replaced like a DIY job, or do I need to get a new one? And what other cars can I use one out of? There aren't many MX3's around here, especially in the junkyards.

the cable can not be replaced unfortunatly, the one in my EGT blew and it stuck halfway. u gotta pull out all the plastics and replace the entire track/motor as one unit. im not sure about interchangeablity but u said in another post that there are lots of escorts in you JY, try pulling one of those and swaping it in."See that car, in the 80's that car was deadly."
