So I start the car to move it out of the garage and let it warm up a minute, and notice an odd clanking noise. Pop the hood, and trace the sound to the crank pulley, which is wobbling as it spins. Shut the car off, discovered I could move the crank pulley bolt with my fingers. Removed the bolt completely (which took no real effort), noticed a bunch of rust (had tapped/cleaned the bolt before I put the motor together) but it was not stripped, so I put it back in and torqued it. Restarted the motor long enough to notice that the clanking is gone, but the wobble is still there.
How screwed am I?
(Car is coming back in the garage in a week after I am done moving and I will be tearing it apart, I'd just like to know if anyone's seen this before...)
