    Junkyard wheel upgrades

I came across this in a random spot on some gas guzzler forum in a post about air vents (talk about getting off topic! )... A few wheel upgrade possibilities, obviously the offsets, etc will need to be checked out - this only refers to bolt patterns (4x4.5 in this case):

    Acura Legend '86 to '89
    Buick Special, Olds F-85 '61 to '63
Chevy Nova, Chevy II '60 to '64
    Chevy Sprint '85 to '87
Datsun/Nissan, most RWD models to '89
    Dodge Colt '79 to '92
Ford Falcon, Mustang (6 cyl) '60 to '73
Ford Granada, Maverick '81 to '83
Hyundai all years (old data ?)
    Mazda 323 '86 to '89
    Mazda 626, RX7 '83 to '87
    Mazda GLC '81 to '85
    MGA, MGB, MGC all
Mitsubishi, most 4 lug all years
    Nissan 240SX all 4 cyl
    Nissan Altima '93 to '99
    Olds - F-85 '61 to '63
Plymouth Arrow, Sapporo '79 to '88
    Saab, all to '87
Toyota, most RWD except PU and MR2 all years
    Triumph TR3 through TR6 all

I saw on this page a variety of bolt patterns and offsets for lots of different vehicles too - might prove useful finding a junkyard gem. (Their lists seem complete, but I don't know anything else about the company - this is not an endorsement)

    Bart
    Project 'Mazda Missile' - 1990 323

    Stuff done: Not lots.
BP power and trans. B&G springs and Tokico S/R struts. EGT front/rear sway bars. DIY front/rear strut tower braces. MX3 GS rear tie bar. Pro GT(?) wheels. MX3 front & rear seats. Beige int panels now black! Low-buck MP3 H/U and door speakers. Infinity BassLink sub. Remote starter. Pro GT gauges, now with extra redness.

    Stuff wanted done: Lots.
EGT big front brake/rear disc brake conversion (awaiting install). Fog lights in grille (close to ready). Fogs as DRLs (researching).

Here is a jewel from a pull a part in Cleveland, OH.

This wheel came from an 80s RX7.

              It looked like hell!

See it now, it's been media blasted of glass beads to both sides, the back side was sand blasted first due to extensive salt from northern roads of the 80s.

This wheel is a looker now!
I'm proud to have it ready for the spring weather.

The rear wheel makes me think of all wheel steering. Can you imagine? The GTX would be unstoppable.

man if the spectra wheels fit, I'm going to try finding a set of these.

edit: according to tirerack they are a 4x114 sweet.
