Transfer Case Problem

When I bought my car, I knew it had a transmission problem. It would only move with the Diff Locked. The clutch had been changed in the car about 3 years ago. My guess is that they drainied the trasfer case but then only filled the transmission.

There is a seal between the transmission & the transfer case. The fluids cannot mix. The Transfer case has it's own fill port.

I think i have a same kind of problem..
I found a piece of tooth in transfercarrier.There's excessive play but i can drive it with care.I'm going to take it apart this summer.

Looks like you need a gtx tranny.
