    Exhaust Help!!!

I have a 91 Protege, I was coming home from the shop after getting the right axle replaced, so I wanted to test the strength of the axle. Red Light. Dropped the clutch and away we went. But there was another noise along with us. Something broke, and now the exhaust is louder. Jacked it up the other night. Only thing I can see would be the flex pipe coming from the header. Not a complete through hole but some of the outside is away. Is this the cause or what. let me know......Peace.

go to the autoparts store and get some muffler clamps. make sure to get the right size clamp for your corresponding pipe size.

get a can of tomato paste and get a can opener, and take off both top and bottom, contadina tomato paste is a good size or a small can, take the can and wrap it around the part that's cracked. Put in your clamps and tighten it.

Your connection between one of the sides of the flex pipes is rusty or shot, or disconnected. You have to go down under and check where it is.
