this is the turbo that came with my kit.

but its not a true 57 trim, i measured it to actually be a 46 trim.

      here are some pics.

those lines in the compressor are from a marker, i had planned to smooth out the transition on the turbo, but got lazy with that.

i had put the engine together for all-motor, but i wasnt happy. so i bought the head gasket and turbo kit. rebuilding the motor and the machine work cost about $1100, thats with myself putting it back together. the turbo kit was $550 plus i had to get extras to make sure it would hold.

                so here is a rundown
                engine- $1100
                HG- $100
                clutch- $220
                turbo kit- $550
                oil restrictor- $30
                firewall oil line- $30
                exhaust- $150
                injectors- $136
                mount kit- $130

thats about $2446, if i include the engines previous build.

im surprised you didnt throw arp rod and main bolts in right away.I heard the rod bolts are the weak point with the ls-vtec.Either way, neat little hatch

arp rodbolts were put in when i rebuilt the motor for n/a. its a must if you want to rev to 8000 and up. the mains arent that big of a concern under 400 -500 hp, but at that point i do want to put them in.. i have a second b18 and i am thinking about sleeving and building that block for 450hp.
