    BP swap! should i charge?

Well theres 2 black 93 gts at my jy. one is auto, the other is manual. teh manual doesnt have a head. the auto was an abandoned vehicle, for who knows how long.

and its to my understanding that from 1.9 sohc to bp...

i need to extend the wires for the coolant reservoir and washer.
i need the ac compressor and lines (is the condensor different?)
the ps lines should fit okay.
i could use my LX main harness with the bp ecu (i think... btw i have a 96 escort lx.)
    need the engine harness...
    axles
    intermediate shaft
    would need the airbagless dash
    cluster (?)
    speedo cable
    exhaust.

    okay now onto my car

    has 156XXX miles
    leaks oil
    axles are shot
    ball-less
    leaks trans oil somehow
    old and tired.

i have the tools to do it. most of the money lol. and i was thinking i could start on a friday and do it over teh weekend. is that task feasible?

im looking more into the swap on feoa but its mostly lx-gtx swaps going on in the stickies.

that and if i get everything i need, i could just keep the motor at my friends house until the swap can be done.

    so...

96lx swap to bp go or no?

The LX-GTX stickies on FEOA are the same thing as just putting a BP in. Read that one and the link that is provided to another thread about the swap and you'll have a good idea of what you need. Your airbags aren't controlled by the computer so there is no need to swap dashes unless you want to. I'm not sure how emissions testing is in Hawaii but you'll also be converting your OBD-II car to OBD-I, so if they go to check the diagnostic port you will fail right away.
