Well Ive finally got sick of having no power. I want more power but not too much(I just got my licence, I would like to keep it=])
So I decided to go for a NA bp. Im not ready for a turbo yet(yes I admit it).
Well I called the local j/y today and asked if they had any 90-94 protege's,(which is the one with the bp correct? im going to feel like an idiot if im wrong).
They sad they did and for me just to come down. So im going to go this weekend to see if there worth it. My search for a bp has started.
I also Have a couple questions.
When I pull the engine I have to grab:
engine(dur)
ecu
harness
anything else?
Also can the power steering/ A/C from the b6 swap over to the bp or would I have to grab that with the engine also?(if it has a/c).
The transmission for the b6 will bolt up to the bp but will it last?
Last thing, Any tips for pulling an engine at a j/y? Ive never pulled an engine period, so I know it wont be easy for me.
Thank you for any/all replies, sorry for all the questions,
Thank you for your time,
-Matt
