    bpt awd rear diff measurements?

    any one have the rear dif measurements? flange to flange? wanting one for a project car and need to see what ill have to chance to make it work.

    im putting a bpt in my festiva.. i already had it b6t and that was fun but now i want bpt. and awd. so im just trying to figure out what illhave to change in the process. and yeah i know it wont be easy. but im a pretty good fabricater so i think ill be ok. on think i have to make. might ask a few questions on what i need but ohter than that shouldnt be to bad.. "fingeres crossed" i hope. so any info on the rear diff/rearend please feel free to let me know.

    wow.. my lsd is out of the car right now, so i have a GREAT chance of taken measurements.. only i'm short a shaft.. so i can't get the good measurements.

        you need to know the width of the car hub to hub? or do you just need the width of the differential from flange to flange?

            ok i can do that, i have a spare diff with stub shafts sitting in the garage.

                the width he's looking for yes, the case is different though.

                its actually a miata vlsd that i was going to measure for him

                      hey kryss still can get ahold of the guy with the really nice festiva..not to big of a deal, just the price was perfect.. but any ways. i dont think the miata diff has the same spline count as the gtx/protege awd trans...

                          not sure what you are saying about the miata diff and the gtx trans.... two totally different things lol

                          the diff uses a 4 bolt flange on either side. 1.6 miata = 323gtx = 4wd protege, generally speaking... i dont feel like writing a book on the subject right nowlol
