2wd gt rear calipers v.s 4wd rear calipers?

    2wd gt rear calipers v.s 4wd rear calipers?

    Do they fit? is it the same shait?

    on the BG the 2wd and 4wd calipers are identical. thats all the help i can give you though

      They are also the same on the bf models, some tracers also had the same rear calipers.

      but they are not similar between bf and bg cars

        I tried swapping them yesterday & found out that the bracket for the 4wd caliper is wider than the part where you bolt in onto the hub of the 323 gt & the brake hose is bolted on from an different angle on the caliper.

            Yea the front and rear brakes should be the same as a LX protege or Ford EGT. I havent tried swapping them but im just getting my info from a Mazda factory workshop manual, so far that book has not let me down for any stiuation for specs.

                Oops i guess i should of looked at the category of what chassis this thread is in. I just saw the thread in new posts and didnt pay attension.

                Also arent the rear subframes and suspension from the 4wd protege the same or similar to the BF GTX 4wd? I know the struts are different

                      I was talking about fitting the BG GTX 4wd rear calipers to my BF GT fwd and the BG GTX rear calipers will not fit as I tried them since I have both front and the rear BG GTX calipers
