    Avoiding repeatable threads...

I was wondering if something could be added when posting a new thread right at the top of the page of the "Post New Thread" page. Maybe a suggestion about using the SEARCH function on the website for a question before posting a question. Maybe the search function could show up in BOLD and BIG FONT, just incase they missed it the first time.

I'm just getting tired of filtering through the crap of the same old question about this and that, when I know it's been asked and answered a million times... something a search would give them a million matches to read about. In turn I miss good technical question, that's never been asked before, that I could provide some wisdom and knowledge to.

Just a suggestion, but I'll have to visit here less frequently if I have to spend time sorting through the crap.

I'm feeling the same. 58 threads with new posts, only 5 of which are worth reading, 2 of those I posted in and am following up on.

Could it be, those of us who crave highly technical details have reached a point where the knowledge we want, we know where it was already discussed and have not needed to create another random thread?

Big brakes, properly designed and upgraded suspension parts, how to correctly build up a BPT, etc. I have bookmarks for these, and have not needed nor found a new thread to rival the knowledge there.
No car! I soldz it. Now I have a truck. I like it, but apparently it has a hard time keeping up with a slightly modified 4WD protege with half the hp. Neat.

Maybe we need to have more stickies and make the newbers read them all before they can post! haha

funny thought, shawn (sean?) MD323 had a thread like this a couple months back, does that make this thread hypocritical?

Idk if they can do this..but if they could only make it do that to people with lets say under 400 posts..so the everyday people wouldnt get annoyed.
