    3-wire (GTX) O2 Wiring

Well, i searched and got 2 conflicting methods. I'm hooking up the stock GTX o2 sensor. it has 1 black (signal) wire and 2 white wires. From the diagram it looked to me like they both went to 12V and it was grounded through the case. I did that and now it runs hella rich. So, now i'm guessing its the other opinion i found and one of the white wires goes to ground. anyone know which?

why spending your time on something completely useless? let the o2 warm up itself with 1 wire thats it thats all

heated o2 sensors are much more accurate over a wider range of engine conditions... at low speed and idle it is especially helpful. its not pointless but you wont get a "z0mg this car runs so much better!" feeling either

Because thats what the engine has in it. And its not useless as jon has explained. Also, removing a baked in o2 thats lived through years of michigan winters proves to be rather difficult.

The white wires are for the heater - so one of the white wires goes to (switched) 12v and the other to ground. Do not connect the ground wire to the block or chassis (or anywhere close to the sensor) - get it as close to the battery as possible.
