I had a 1995 Escort LX that I drove for 4+ years that got me started in escorts!
My attempt at a Body kit!
The way it looked when I sold it!
I planned on doing a BP swap but the car was falling apart around me I had a 91 GT parts car for the swap I just needed a manual transmission but I found the blue car so I moved on and sold this off!
I then moved up in the world when I bought my 1992 Escort GT in November of 2006 for $475 from Elkhorn WI. The car ran and drove fine but the exhaust was rotted out and needed brakes!
November 2006-One week after I bought it! I had already installed the stereo system and did the brakes, had a fart can welded on to replace the missing exhaust and got rid of those ugly very 90's graphics!
April 2007-The next time I did anything to the car really because of winter. I put on a cold air intake, put some mesh behind the grill and tinted my tail lights. I also got the interior from a 96 Escort GT, a front strut bar, clear corners , Josh LX derlin endlinks and suspension techniqs struts and spring for a 2 inch drop!
Tinted tails and fart can
Cold air intake I built out of my brothers off his focus when he went SVT!
June 2007 at the clubprotege first national meet with the new clear corners!
May 2008-Fast forward almost a year I worked a ton in the middle so all I did was collect parts, didn't get anything on. I did the manual seat belt swap. Put a full pacesetter exhaust on with a size matched resonator, high flow cat and 96 GT tubular header.
Manual Seat belts
June 2008-I installed new headlights, fog lights and my quickor rear sway bar!
New Headlights and fogs!
July 2008-I finally got rims, They are 16' off of a Mini Cooper I love them! I also installed brand new carpet!
Test fit before center caps.
Custom Center caps.
August 2008-I put on a 3 inch accord intake to replace my old one! I also Painted the backs of my fog lights chrome so they are no longer yellow!
New intake!
More to come soon-New Windshield, new drivers fender, Clean engine bay and install Mazda valve cover!
