Looking for dependable car

Hey guys new person here from the Ford Escort GT world. I need a car for the winter time since my Mazdaspeed3 gets put away. I had a couple EGT's but I am having trouble finding another one. I have now broadened my horizons so I knew about this forum and thought I would take my search here.

Anybody selling a protege or mx3 or something basically clean, dependable, good on gas...? Midwest USA is my location.

I guess I hadn't thought about Ebay but I have tried Craigslist but it is a joke when looking for cars. I wind up chasing people down for basic information that should have been in the listing and they all want way, way, way too much for their cars. I am kind of talking to someone with a 1992 MX3 with 133,000 miles and he wants $2,500 bucks! It's worth max about $1,100.

I am located near Milwaukee and would be interested if they are nearby.

I'd sell you one if I had it to sell. I haven't really seen to many around the area for sale, but if it's just a winter beater with a working heater you need, I'll keep an eye out. Anything you DONT want? You can usually find acccords and the like for a couple hundred. Sell it to a high school kid just getting their license in the spring for what you paid for it....

Oh yeah, there's a guy up by stevens point selling an mx3, i think he might still have it.... 300 bucks..
