    tuning needed?

im looking for some input. i have a 92 pro. with 1.8 dohc. i rebuilt it a while back. and i was wondering if i need to buy a tunable ignition and fuel system or not. my upgrade are h/i/e 10.5:1 wiesco pistons. msd 6al and msd coil. accel 8mm wires. self done port and polish "mostly gasket matching". and i plan on doing the exintake mod with adjustable cam gears shortly. so just tell me what you all think. ive thought about going with the ms-II or emanage.

megasquirt would allow you to take advantage of your mods a lot more effectively.

I live my life a quarter pounder at a time. And for those 500 calories or more, I'm free. I need FRIES! Two of them. The big ones. Oh, and I need them tonight. You're lucky the double shot of BBQ sauce didn't blow the seam on your nugget box. There she is, 2 pounds of pure beef. My dad ate it in 9.0 seconds flat. Check it out, it's like this. If I lose, winner takes my happy meal. But if I win, I take the burger and the toy. To some people, that's more important.

I also vouch for the MS. It gives you the most flexibility for the most affordable price.

The MSD box is trouble with the MS standalone - besides you can sell that box and pay for a good bit of the standalone. People have run 30psi of boost on the stock coil, so it's not a problem point.

i think you should invest into a ms2. and as far as the msd box! i had a sci-l grey box and it kept burning out my cap and rotor. but thats about all i had problems with. i down graded to 2x msd 6al box's.
