    solid motor mounts

i want to get new motor mounts for my 88 323 gtx. i have read on other forums of people using eurothane to make a motor mount using the original brackets or whatever they are that the rubber part sits in. is this a good option? if not, is there anybody that knows of solid motor mounts i could use.

Corksport offers some very nice Mazdaspeed motor mounts.

Almost at the bottom of the page. Looks like a good option to me.

search around it has been posted before, i have used 3m window weld and works good, i also have a welded set , the welded set is not even close to as bad as people said it would be for vibration, the only draw back to the welded ones is it makes putting the motor and tranz back into the car a little more difficult, cause its tighter.

only the front one would work stock, if u redrill hole in the subframe mount the back could work

You might want to use a stock mount for the passenger side mount. These mounts will cause a lot of vibration, but that mount is the worst offender.

First off, make sure you replace all of them, or none of them. If you just do one, the other will be dead in a week. Secondly, I would advise against using solid mounts. You will break things, the axles for instance. Especially if you're rough on the car. Urethane is usually the best route to go, as they still have a little give to them, but the Corksport ones sound like they'd be a good option as well.

Do a search on window weld. There is a good write up on how to fill the engine mounts with the stuff. It's my next project as I get ready to install my new engine.
