    Amazing Shifter

    Holy crap... i didnt even know that these existed but i feel the need to have one badly.

    Sequential Shifter

    to find it select product info--> sequen shifter--> bottom of page select:LANCER EVO VIII / IX CT9A
    only 5speed Transmissions--> select 5 speed transmissions

    its a shifter that converts the H pattern to sequential and i believe that the one for a 5 speed evo can be converted to work in a BFMR GTX i think im gonna try when i get my car back, only downside if it dosent work is the 98,000 yen or $1,100 price tag, but if it does work u can also get a digital desplay readout of what gear u r in= sweet!

          I live my life a quarter pounder at a time. And for those 500 calories or more, I'm free. I need FRIES! Two of them. The big ones. Oh, and I need them tonight. You're lucky the double shot of BBQ sauce didn't blow the seam on your nugget box. There she is, 2 pounds of pure beef. My dad ate it in 9.0 seconds flat. Check it out, it's like this. If I lose, winner takes my happy meal. But if I win, I take the burger and the toy. To some people, that's more important.

            Any way of taking some detailed pictures of it? Also, any idea how it works inside? The website says its mechanical and I just cant seem to get my head around it. Plus I'd like to make my own

              I don't have any idea what the internals look like. My brother is LoAdEd & does not work on his own cars. I would have to think that it would be fully adjustable as for throws but I have no idea. All I know is that his car with that shifter is bitch'n!!

              EDIT: Google search "sequential shifter" and click on the images tab. It looks like it uses a single arm tensioned by a coil spring... Looks pretty daMn complex...

                Oh boy! Lots and lots of extra mechanical linkage between me and the trans to fail, just so I can say my shifter is sequential even if the tranny isn't! Does it come with a CD I can play real loud that'll make it sound like I have straightcut gears, too?
                Let's see. It adds weight, cost, and complexity, while making it more difficult for me to miss a shift.
                Or, I could learn to drive.
                Seeing's how I've missed one shift in my memory, I think I'll stick with the 2nd option.
