well after a lot of searching i finally found a 323 with little rust. i live in Atlantic canada and here car rust freaking fast if you don't take care of them.
i found this one on kijiji, its a 1994 mazda 323 base model. 5 speed, 218000km.
the little 1.6 still run strong, its not burning any oil and the timing belt and water pump as just been changed. got 4 good shape winter tire and a base pioneer cd player. the car as only some rust on the hood, bubble on the rear passenger fender and bubble where you open the hatch. got new brake all around.
under the car, well i cant ask for better!! its in great shape just surface rust on some part. the shifter linkage its brokend but that not a problem i have a brand new one on the part car.
right now i just removed some of the undercoating. i'm going to strip her down proably in janurary. the 323 will never see another winter.
if someone its looking for a engine and tranny i will have one for sale
here some pic taked by the young guy that had it.
time to remove the undercoating in the engine bay.
after some simple green and the pressure washer with hot water. i had to use hot water because its was -5 degree celcius
right now i'm collecting part for the 323
got the jdm grill and corner from mr god
got electric mirror and switch from sube
and here my part car... going to use the suspension, mx3 seat/carpet, wheel, bpt engine.
