    91 Egt-t

    Well i figured why not, ill start a work log.. be a good way to document progress and part #s

    So i'll start with whats already done::

    The car: 91 Escort GT, 182k on body/motor,94k on 90 Protege trans



    2nd gen Eclipse 420a 2.0 DOHC Non turbo Intake, MSD Blaster 2 Coil



    No cat, 2" straight back, Cherry bomb as a res. Tenzo R Type 5 Muffler
    All Welding done myself






    Luk Pro Gold Performance clutch (which I like after about 6k miles so far)






    Poly Filled mounts



    Dyno sheet as it sits. Best Uncorrected #s were 116hp, 117tq

    This is the BP that came from my 90 Protege parts car... which i was selling for a while, but decided to use for boost now.






    BP26 Manifold/VJ20/GTX Injectors

    Exhaust flange for Compressor outlet...
    Napa P/N:: 31926 $8.33 (I pay net thru the shop , so my cost $3.99)
    Fits too tight around studs. Required minimal filing on the outside edges of the stud holes to fit well.

    Gasket to accompany the above flange...
    Napa P/N 31309 $ 5.89 (My cost $2.99)
    Fits perfect, should work well!
    Custom made flange for O2 housing outlet... Thanks to my buddy Micheal @ Paul Welding. $30.. Awaiting gasket from Corksport

                hey you should see if your buddy at the welding place wants to make a small batch run of those exhaust flanges. the guy who used to sell them on here disappeared.

                the only thing i'd be worried about is the small nose crank on that 90 protege motor.

                  idk, ive seen the small noses go 200k+ without any issues.... and iirc, doesnt mazda sell a "correction kit" consisting of a longer bolt and something else i dont remember

                    the "correction kit" was actually a different crank with a longer nose that maintains the same smaller diameter all the way out to the bolt head.

                    i mean mine was running fine at 183k, i'd just make sure you grab a brand new bolt and torque it carefully to spec.

                          drag radials are the only thing that might not spin all over the place, but you cant exactly drive on those in the rain (just ask blazin674, lol)

                          i have BFG gforce sports, they seem to survive okay
