I picked this up last night, after telling myself i wouldnt buy another BG car till spring

Its a 1990 323 SE with just over 200k on it, but its one of the cleanest ive seen in Wisconsin.It looks to be the "loaded" model with A/C, power steering, and aftermarket cruise control.Im not sure which direction im going with the drivetrain, but id like to start with suspension and cosmetics for spring, then work on the putting some nuts in this thing.The body/underbody is virtually rust free(came from an auction in Indiana), but it needs some attention to the back hatch filler panel below the center reflector.It looks like somebody backed into something somewhere along the line, but the hatch still closes like it should.As of now, im open to any suggestions on what to do first, im used to escorts so this is somewhat new to me.Oh yeah, mazda seriously owns in interior deparment, Im in love with the layout already.

my local yard has two of those body 323's. and i can get body parts extremely cheap. we got a concorde front bumper, the support, driver fender, and front driver door with glass and the inner door panel for 55 bux.

I always wanted a 323. Good job on finding such a clean one Clint! Go Bp and never go back! If you ever want to sell it get ahold of me. Also if you want a bp swap I have a line on a 93 GT for $250 I will go half with you on it for the side skirts and a few other things.

Thanks guys for the offers.What i would like to find is a car i can cut the rear filler panel out of and just tack weld and seal it up like new.Other than the rear, the car is exceptionally clean even underbody.I messed with the car a little today, threw my suspension on, and my egt fanblades.This is the parts list so far that i know ill need to snag up.

mx3 seats
egt calipers to strap on my mx3 rear subframe
gtx spoilers

some egt 7 spokes

Im planning on installed some fog lights tomorrow, bleeding the brakes, rolling the fenders, and rustproofing the bare steel on the back filler panel.All in all, im very happy with this car so far, i dont think this one will be leaving me for a quite a while.I

As a bonus, i ended up raping my buddies mx3 gs for some free parts.I snagged the full body/dash harness along with the column to aid when i want to get the v6 stuff working along with the cluster.

I wrenched on the car a little bit, accomplished the rear disk conversion.I used a full mx3 subframe, but didnt swap porportioning valves.The car stops pretty damn decent, the calipers will be replaced with egt pieces at the end of the month.

One the way home this morning, i got cut off and had a little accident .Some guy didnt see my car and cut over pushing me over the curb, over a hardpacked 5ft high ice mound, and over two more curbs at about 35mphs.I blew the front passenger tire out, bent two other rims and the car now pulls to the right.Im hoping its nothing major, ill check it over later today
