    Torque values

    My computer, which held my factory service manual died on me, and i can't find the info, does anyone know the torque specs for the head on the b6t?

    '88 323 DX ,Bone Stock
    '88 323 GTX, CAI, giant fmic, 3" exaust from the turbo back

    8 6 2 4 10

    That's the order you wanna run 'em down in.
    Start at 35, then 45, then 60, then 60 again (final)

    Also, be sure to oil the threads so that you don't get a false
    torque reading due to some debris in the threads. Might even wanna run a tap down each hole.

        Seen a couple engines self-ventilate from headbolts that weren't done right...it's too easy to get that part done wrong, and have things go OK for long enough to get complacent, then, kaboom

            could you just explain what you mean about the 35 45 and 60 i know they are degrees but should i hand tighten bolts first then do that or just from the get throow my torque wrench on there and do that?q

              torque head bolts in stages 35 45 then 60 lbs
