    bpt hesatation from hell !

ok so my first voyage no 4 wire tps ,no down pipe , no cops in sight whew hew flew threw every gear 7000 rpm just fine then i hooked up exuast now it hesitates bettween 3000 and 5000 rpm i have the probe 2,2 bpv wide open into engine compartment i think timing is good i have ngk uridums ,local shop says there bad news for turbo's, no boost leaks i have a burnt out cat and a quiet muffler so i dont get the wrong attention, do i need a more free flowing muffler ? i have a old turbo muff those ones every ricer has on every honda i kinda dont want that look. the weird thing is after the hesitation its will hall a** to 7100 rpm just fine i dont even notice it in 1 or 2 gear just 3,4,5 gear what can this be my bpv always has air coming out at all rpms and sometimes under boost i hear it whistle shoul i throgh my imatation greddy b.o.v on ? i even tryed recircing the bpv it was worse way worse !

If you notice the hesitation in 3-5 gears at WOT, it sounds like it could be boost cut. Are you running the BP26 ecu?

I've decided that my car is a girl, she's picky as hell, won't listen to me, always wants to fight me, and when i give her presents it's never good enough and she always wants more.

venting that bpv to atmosphere is a terrible idea. if it leaks its bad, get another one and recirc it.

did you actually check your timing? it's either right or its not

Sounds like the same problems I'm having. I'm starting to think its my bpv but others say boost leak. Idk.

your BPV could be your boost leak.

What kind of Vam are you using? If its not a B code or a Y code i think this will happen. I'm having the same issues.

also I was reading about lex's plug and play and he said too much fuel will cause it to bog down so I leaned it out some and it ran better with the U code.

iridiums might be part of the problem too. I had em and didn't like em, go back to NGK.

If it's reving up and down that much on it's own, you have a vacuum leak.

ok now wouldnt a vaccum leak be a constantly leaking bpv because it always has air coming out but during boost it is hissing just a little it constantly has at least some air coming out .
