    What size wheel :)

What size wheel works best with a 98 ES anyone know?
I would like to goto 16's but want to double check first.
I've seen some advertise 17's. Does this cause any interferance with the car's turning etc?

16's fit fine.. 17's do too.. its all about offset, which confuses the hell out of me.. i can't seem to find a single answer about what offset fits.. but be warned.. you get bigger rims, your car turns into an SUV... shop for lowering springs soon after...

I think I'll be content with 16's... Actually I really don't care what size to be honest, anything is better than the stock ones that I got with the car. They're horrible!!!! 15's would be cheaper, but I think I'll go with 16's... and hmm lowering.. dont' know if that would be a good idea. I'm already worried about the body kit and being careful with that LOL.. I'm not exactly the best driver, and diffinetly not patient.. :0)

They have decent springs that wont put your car on the ground but will give it a better look and handle better. Jon

Okay, so when we go for our walk on the beach Jon you'll come early enough to lower it for me right? LOL!

IMO you should drop the car 1" even considering the fact you will add a body kit; it would look real good. I mean, you dont need to worry about plowing any snow since you're in FL so that aspect of the procedure is null. Anyway, I think 16s would be perfect also for the 2nd gen. I know 17s can fit on 1st and 2nd gens, but i think it just looks too out of place for the car.

you hush J i like my 17's on my car.... fast track....this is what I did

I got 17's and was able to get ahold of eibach pro springs.... the thing that I was worried about was with my body kit. i didnt want to go lower than stock really.... but the 17's lifted my car up about and inch and the springs will be lowering the car a lil more than than(1.2-ish).... I say it will look good since I basicaly just stuck the wheels on and took them off to see how the looked since its winter and dont have the springs on yet... but it should work the way i just described...

by the way 17's with a +45 offset(dont know wtf it is one of those numbers to know) with a 4x100 bolt size(lugs and the space between them) will fit... just telling you cuz I had to ask around for a long time to find out and nobody knew cuz of the offset but I took the chance and work just nice.

I regress. After seeing 17s on dipsets, I think they would look good on the 2nd gen. I stick with my 1" drop opinion though, especially when adding a kit.

I'm going to stick with 16's... and if needed when I have the bodykit on there and all I'll lower... I found some pretty basic ones at pepboys. Tempted to go get them but really think I'll wait till I can get the tires too. That way I don't have them just sitting in boxes LOL...

                              Thank you bunches!
