    GTX transmission sensor locations

lol, It seems I'll be littering the forum with all kinds of threads asking dumb-ass questions cause my searching skills suck.

I got my GTX trans back from my rebuilders months ago and I'm finally getting it put back together right now.

Only problem is the tranny came back with all the sensors out of it and I have a box with 2 complete sets of sensors....and like I said, its been months since I've had it apart....so dont know where anything goes now.

Would anyone have a picture or diagram of the sensor locations and thier functions?

    Heres the trans

I'm near certain the hole that the clutch arm is pointing to is where the reverse sensor goes so the other one is the neutral switch.
'90 AWD Protege, full GTR drivetrain swap, ~320 whp daily driver, RIP, and
'90 AWD Protege, yet another GTR swap, Open class rallycar with a Toyota GT4 gearbox swap, thus crossing the line between hobby and mental illness. And a Brabus E55 K8, removing all doubt.

From the FSM, I hope this helps.

I don't remember three sensors.. the backup, and the neutral is all both the US and EU FSM's have.

        maybe an extra sensor?

Ahhh wicked, the other sensor is for the Center Diff lock light, it goes on where the actuator is.

          Thanks!!

PS do you have a link to the FSM? I've been looking everywhere for it.

you need to look at the harness and compare the plugs and such, maybe one of those sensors doesnt even go to it.

Ah, crap, I just realized that you've got a BF GTX.

The BG GTX doesn't have a diff lock, the BG 4WD does, but the diff lock doesn't have a sensor, it just has the wires that go to it to turn the motor to pull the rod in and out, from the switch in the dash.

I don't have any docs on the BF... there IS a sensor switch for the diff, but I don't know if it's a screw-on from the outside, or if it's integral to the diff lock motor.

might want to go to 323performance.com and see if their larger BF population can ID them for you..

              *edit*
actually, in looking into it, fordlaser.com seems to have a BF manual somewhere... 92mb zip file. I'll pm you the link, just in case Big Brother is watching too closely

              *edit
              yeah, that works, kinda...

I might have the full fsm, gotten from m323p forums. Yes, I do. It's a 56MB PDF compiled, or split into PDF's for each chapter (19).

Which would you like and how? I have near unlimited bandwidth, so give me some options!
No car! I soldz it. Now I have a truck. I like it, but apparently it has a hard time keeping up with a slightly modified 4WD protege with half the hp. Neat.
