    HKS F-Con ?'s

Sorry for being a post whore, I just have so many questions!

The GTX I purchased came with a used uninstalled HKS F-Con.
Unfortunately it is missing the Pressure Sensor. I see HKS still sells these. HKS
also offers the AFR type D. Will this work with my F-Con?
If so is it worth the money.
And last but not least, I think there is some type of
display that hooks up to the F-Con, Correct? Is this offered by HKS?
My plans are to have a slightly tuned GTX. Maybe 180-200 hp.
I would like to tune it like it would of been tuned back in the early 90's,
using the more vintage type parts ect, I think the f-con would fit in
    this category.

Slightly tuned? Then save your money, just buy the pressure sensor, and be done with it. All those addons won't add much beyond eye candy.

'90 AWD Protege, yet another GTR swap, Open class rallycar with a Toyota GT4 gearbox swap, thus crossing the line between hobby and mental illness. And a Brabus E55 K8, removing all doubt.

"Wheelie Bars" is actually two words. ;-)
I don't think HKS sells bars, if they did I would be all over them

I'm on 20psi, VJ-11 keeps me right around 12.7:1 at that much boost. Im also running a TII rx7 pump and a set of 330cc mx6 injectors

yeah yeah i know rich at cruise and idle with those injectors, but the car seems to run very well...

                330's are standard B6T injectors...?

If you have an Fcon with a correct chip, I say go for it.

                  They're rudimentary but they WORK.

The add on you're talking about a GCC which lets you 'tune' the fuel curve a bit at 4-6rpm points.

A gcc isn't worth the money unless it's far less than $200.

An APEXi SAFC/safc2 does essentially the same thing as the GCC does.

Are you saying use a correct Fcon for the GTX ?
Or a chipped ecu with an fcon?

chipped ecu and fcon would be redundant. Correct chip IN fcon is what ya wanna make sure of.

O.P. wants to take the lid off that there fcon and see what chip is in it. Since it's used and wasn't ever installed in the car, he wants to make sure it's even set up for a 4 cyl...

Not sure if this question was directed towards me or not. I'm not sure what chip comes in the F-Con, I'm fairly confident that the f-con I have is setup for the GTX.
